What is Juvéderm?
Juvederm is a filler made of hyaluronic acid, a substance this is naturally found in our bodies. Because Sculptra stimulates collagen production, results from this product take more time to be noticed, but at the same time, tend to be longer-lasting compared to other injectables. Sculptra is primarily used to restore lost volume and fat loss in the face due to aging or other factors. However, it can also be used to augment areas of the body, such as the buttocks. Dr. Ourian uses the product for the Sculptra Butt Lift.
Who is a Good Candidate for Beverly Hills Fillers?
Most patients who have some signs of aging or just simply wish to augment areas of the face such as the cheeks, nose, jawline or lips make good candidates for fillers as long as they are generally healthy. Before filler injections, patients should avoid taking blood thinners or smoking. How are Beverly Hills Filler Injections Performed?
After determining that you are a good candidate for Beverly Hills fillers, Dr. Ourian will sterilize the treatment area and may apply a topical numbing cream so you are comfortable throughout the injection process. The injections are then carefully made according to your goal results. Injectable fillers can be completed in about 15-30 minutes. Patients may experience some swelling or bruising at the injection site, but are otherwise able to return to their normal routine as soon as the appointment is complete.
